Mrs. Schuhmacher and Mrs. Scott’s Sacred Heart Montessori  Pre-K.

"fostering spiritual, academic, physical, and social growth"
Spiritual Growth
We are proud of the fact that at Sacred Heart
Catholic Preschool Christian values are developed
through everyday atmosphere and opportunities.
The children participate in daily prayers, special activities
within the school and church and continue
a mission project to learn to care for others as Christ
has taught us to do.
Our goal is to provide an environment that nurtures
respect for self and others, and to encourage family values
as an awareness of God's love for us.

Preschool Schedule

About Our Program

Our goal at Sacred Heart Preschool is to provide a positive Christian environment, which will promote spiritual, social, physical, intellectual,
and emotional growth of the preschool child.

Learning experiences appropriate for the developmental age of each child are provided daily.

Children need to feel good about themselves! Positive guidance techniques are used by our staff to enhance a child's feelings of self worth.

The daily schedule provides time group interactions which helps children learn to cooperate, listen, and share; self-selected activity time stimulates cognitive growth and creativity; and daily activities to promote positive growth in large and small motor development.

Curriculum

Our children are introduced to basic readiness skills with an emphasis on introduction not mastery.

Children will be encouraged to develop social skills, language skills, and large and small motor skills in a play atmosphere.

As part of our curriculum children are introduced to science, math, art, music, geography, social studies, language, and so much more.

Our hope is to make learning exciting and fun while developing a structured environment in readiness for the kindergarten classroom.
